Flip Flops - Essential Items For Travel and Remote Work

this is a nice simple one here let's talk about flip-flop this is a new series i'm going to do every wednesday where i talk about an essential item that you need for traveling and the reason i want to start with the flip-flop is because they're so small so useful so cheap and yet i see a lot of people not traveling with them they're like oh i need to get some flip-flops what do you mean you need to get some every shop you see on this road sells them and yeah this is kind of a a shallow topic like super obvious that flip-flops are essential uh but there's like three pretty important reasons why you'd actually want them especially if you're staying in a hostel let's start with a joke though what does a man with two left feet wear flip flips okay let's carry on now we've got that out of the way not wearing flip-flops in the shower at a hostel is gross how many people have used that and it doesn't matter how clean the hostel owner keeps the shower how many people are using the shower on a daily basis if you don't wear your flip-flops in the shower you're standing in all of that you might get stuff like verucas or whatever it's dirty who knows what people have been doing in the shower and then you walk back to your room across other floors which hundreds of people have been walking on so you need to wear something in the shower you need to wear flip-flops in the shower reason number two they're so small they fit in your bag with no worries you can slot them in the side even if you've got a laptop bag you can slot them in there reason number three they're cheap some of them they're one pound in the decathlon here in turkey i bought these flip-flops for one pound reason number four they are available literally everywhere i've never been to a place and not seen flip-flops offered the only negative that i can find is that stubbing your toe in flip-flops increases the chance of just ripping the end of your toe off and that's the only disadvantage i can find with flip-flops there you go a tribute to flip-flops i'm gonna make an essential item video like this every wednesday next week it'll probably be less less in-name than just flip-flops i'll be talking about things like vpns um padlocks etc i also written a guide for remote working if you want it you can find it in the description below it just talks about what you need to look for in a remote job and a couple of places where you can actually go and find one and a bit of the philosophy around why you'd actually want to do this see you next time
